Everyone, meet Dawson! My boyfriend got me this perfect little pup and life the past couple of months with him has been so amazing! Dawson is so sweet and cuddly, with all the right amounts of spunk and quirkiness. He's clumsy and already growing into his long, awkward legs (he's almost five months old). He loves giving sloppy kisses, chewing on sticks, nibbling on ears, and is infamous for his 'zoomies' (sprinting non-stop from one side of the house to the other without being able to hit the brakes). He got his name from the Titanic character, Jack Dawson. Titanic has always been one of my favorite movies ever since I was a little girl. I always looked at Jack as such an inspirational character who symbolized love, growth and adventure -- as I knew this handsome pup would do for me, too!
We got him from a breeder (It's a Golden Life Kennel) in Jacksonville, North Carolina. If anyone is in search of a golden, I highly recommend them! They were very helpful throughout the whole process - start to finish - and always sent us updates of our sweet boy with pictures, videos, vet updates, etc. Dawson was nine weeks old when he got to come home. He had all of his shots and deworming up to date, and he also came AKC registered and already microchipped.
I wanted to share these pictures from our first 'photo shoot' together back when he was just 10 weeks old. We got them taken by my friend Lexie Hand from Lexie Hand Photography, and I'm so obsessed with each and every one of them!!
